ADF Aware – School Capability Building Program
Free online learning opportunity for schools supporting ADF students and families within their communities.
The ADF Aware Program aims to assist school staff to better understand the unique needs of students with parent/s or guardian/s in the Australian Defence Force (ADF), and helps school staff provide support to Defence students. The ADF Aware Program is a bespoke program developed by the Defence Member and Family Support (DMFS) Branch of the Commonwealth Department of Defence, and is delivered to school staff through short online training modules. The program includes three modules covering three key topics designed to support school staff in understanding the Defence lifestyle and its impact on students from Defence families.
