Susanne Fisher is an awarded and accomplished school leader, and is the current Principal of Humpty Doo Primary School. 

Prior to this role, Susanne has held a number of leadership positions for over 20 years, including Principal of Wulagi Primary School, Assistant Principal at Humpty Doo Primary School and Girraween Primary School and Senior Teacher. Susanne’s teaching career commenced in the Catholic Education sector, where she undertook further studies to develop her interest in special education and leadership. Susanne has since completed a Master of Education and a Master of International Management. 

Susanne has a wealth of experience in representing and leading the teaching profession in the NT. She was nominated as Principal of the Year for the Palmerston and Rural Region in 2019 and 2015. Susanne was awarded the PAI John Laing award for the NT in 2015.

Susanne has been a member of the Northern Territory Principal’s Association since 1999. Further to this, Susanne has previously worked within the office of the Board, performing the role of Acting Director from April 2017 until August 2018, providing her with firsthand experience of the functions and operations of the Board.
