Teachers and a person who has made a complaint to the Board may appeal to the Local Court against a disciplinary decision of the Board.
Teachers may also appeal against a decision to impose conditions on registration or suspend registration after an inquiry has been commenced.
Where the Board refuses an application for registration, or a renewal of registration the person may appeal to the Local Court against the decision.
Where the Board refuses to grant authorisation the employer may ask that the Board reconsider the matter. However no appeal lies to the Local Court in relation to action taken by the Board regarding a person authorised to teach.
