The Teacher Registration Board is conducting an information session for provisionally registered teachers to discuss the evidence required to complete the process, and to outline the final stage of moving from Provisional to Full registration.
The session is designed to demonstrate the types of evidence required under the 3 evidence components and discuss ways in which this evidence can be collected. The session will also explore the role of the assessment panel, the purpose and nature of the assessment conversation, the recommendation process and completing Form D: Application for Full Registration from Provisionally Registered Teachers in the Northern Territory. There will be opportunities for questions throughout the session. Provisionally registered teachers are advised to bring examples of evidence already collected to the session. This session follows on from Session 1.
Provisionally registered teachers who attend the combined Information Session 2 and 3 should have attended Information Session 1 previously, so that they have an understanding of the process and the evidence components, however this is not mandatory.
Interested participants are required to register for the session by Thursday 10 May 2012.
