Dr Julie Wells, Director

Dr Julie Wells is the Director of the Teacher Registration Board. Dr Wells has worked in the Northern Territory for over twenty years, mostly in the tertiary education sector. Dr Wells graduated as a secondary teacher in Victoria. She later worked at the Northern Territory University as both a lecturer and researcher in arts and education. Dr Wells completed a PhD at the University of Queensland and has substantial experience in administration and management.

Jackie Crawley, Registration Officer

Jackie is a Territorian, who after spending 20 years in Clare South Australia, returned to the Territory with her children at the end of 2002. Since returning, Jackie has been employed with the Department of Employment, Education and Training (DEET), spending 18 months as the Application and Relocation Officer with the Teacher Recruitment and Retention Unit. Jackie’s knowledge of DEET practices complements her role as Registration Officer with the Teacher Registration Board.
